Aloïse Sauvage
Born in Le Mée-sur-Seine in Seine-et-Marne, Aloïse Sauvage initially pursued a path combining music, dance and contemporary circus, studying an instrument at the conservatory and later training in acro-dance at the Académie Fratellini. This stage background later shapes her music, which emerged in 2017 with the tracks “Ailleurs Higher,” “Aphone” and “Hiver brûlant,” before attracting attention live—most notably at Les Trans Musicales in 2018 and as an opening act for Eddy de Pretto. Her work crosses rap, French pop, chanson and slam, featuring a highly rhythmic delivery, sung choruses and candid lyrics that address love, gender relations, homophobia and emancipation. After the EP Jimy in 2019, she released the album Dévorantes in 2020 and Sauvage in 2022. At the same time she has built an acting career for film and television, appearing in films such as 120 battements par minute, Hors normes, Possessions and Sur un fil. For Aloïse Sauvage, the experience of acting, movement and performance nourishes a musical approach in which the body, diction and rhythm occupy a central place.
