Becky Hill

Born in Bewdley, Worcestershire, England, Becky Hill first came to public attention in 2012 on the inaugural season of The Voice UK, where she reached the semi-finals after earlier receiving local support from BBC Introducing with her youth band Shaking Trees. Her subsequent career is largely rooted in the British dance scene: in 2013 she provided vocals and co-wrote Wilkinson’s “Afterglow,” and in 2014 she featured on Rudimental’s “Powerless” and Oliver Heldens’ “Gecko (Overdrive).” Her work sits at the intersection of electronic pop, dance-pop, house and drum and bass, with vocal writing informed by soul and R&B and arranged for both clubs and pop stages. After several singles and collaborations with artists such as MK, Matoma, Sigala, David Guetta, Topic, Chase & Status and Sonny Fodera, Becky Hill also developed a more assertive solo repertoire with the EP Eko in 2017 and the mini-album Get to Know in 2019. She later released her first two studio albums, Only Honest on the Weekend (2021) and Believe Me Now? (2024), which continue that blend of pop hooks, house energy and English dance culture.
