Sonny Fodera

Born in Adelaide, Australia and based in London, Sonny Fodera has, since the late 2000s, built a career focused on house music — spanning deep house, tech house and vocal club music. He first made his mark on the British and European circuits with productions that feature a direct groove, clean basslines, restrained rhythms and frequent use of soul or pop vocals, crafted for the club without becoming abstract. After a series of EPs and releases on various house labels, he released the album Frequently Flying in 2016, followed by Rise in 2019 and Wide Awake in 2022, while also developing the Solotoko label launched in 2018. His trajectory sits within the continuity of the contemporary British house scene, with performances in both clubs and festivals and collaborations with artists such as MK, Dom Dolla, Diplo, Jazzy and Clementine Douglas. Over the years he has consolidated a clear musical identity made up of effective, melodic productions grounded in an accessible dancefloor culture.
