Karen Harding

Born in Consett, in County Durham, England, Karen Harding develops electronic pop nourished by house, contemporary R&B and 2-step garage, with a direct vocal that quickly oriented her toward the British dance scenes. After television appearances on Eurovision: Your Country Needs You in 2010 and The X Factor in 2013, Karen Harding marks a real turning point when MNEK spots a cover she uploaded and brings her to Method Records. Her first single, Say Something, released in 2014, immediately establishes this formula between pop choruses, house production and garage-flavored accents. The rest of her career is largely built at the crossroads between solo singles and collaborations with producers and artists tied to house, club and dance-pop circuits, including Blonde, Wilkinson, Giorgio Moroder, Felix Cartal, Louie Vega, Röyksopp, Rudimental and Armand van Helden. Karen Harding released the EP Sweet Vibrations in 2021 and then the album Take Me Somewhere in 2023, where her writing remains centered on melodic tracks designed for the club format as much as for pop listening. In addition to her solo releases, Karen Harding also maintains a regular career as a songwriter for other artists, extending her presence in British and international dance.
