PRESIDENT

An anonymous project born in the United Kingdom in 2025, President builds a universe where metalcore, alternative metal, alternative pop and electronica intersect against a backdrop of political and religious imagery. Even before releasing any tracks, President was announced on the bill for Download Festival 2025, immediately placing the group in a zone of mystery around the identity of its masked singer, known as The President and repeatedly linked by the press to Charlie Simpson without confirmation. What began as a solo project gradually expanded into a full lineup with Heist on guitar, Protest on bass and Vice on drums. In 2025 President released a series of singles, including 'In The Name of the Father', 'Fearless', 'Rage' and 'Destroy Me', leading to the self‑produced EP King of Terrors, released the same year. President's music combines heavy riffs, melodic passages close to alternative pop and electronic layers, serving lyrics focused on spirituality, mortality and existential angst. On stage and in their communication, the band describes their shows as 'rallies' and invites the audience to 'join the campaign', extending this concept into videos and visual materials, while a debut album is reported to be in development to deepen the narrative around the figure of The President.
