Alan Walker

British–Norwegian producer and DJ Alan Walker was born in 1997 in Northampton and grew up in Bergen, where he began composing electronic music as a teenager through online communities. He first drew attention in 2014 with the instrumental track “Fade,” which circulated on sharing platforms, and reached a wider audience in 2015 when “Faded,” a re-recorded version featuring singer Iselin Solheim, was released by an international label. His work sits at the intersection of melodic EDM, electronic pop and progressive house, characterized by vocal-driven structures, melancholic themes and a strong cinematic quality in the arrangements. From 2016 onward Walker released a string of singles and increased collaborations with singers from pop and rap scenes, while developing a recurring visual universe centered on his logo and mask. His debut studio album Different World appeared in 2018, followed by World of Walker in 2021 and the Walkerverse project in 2022. Walker divides his activity between studio production, regular single releases and tours that have taken him to major electronic stages in Europe, North America and Asia.
