OneRepublic is an American band formed in 2002 in Colorado Springs by Ryan Tedder and Zach Filkins, soon joined by Eddie Fisher, Drew Brown, Brent Kutzle, and Brian Willett. The band broke through in 2007 with Apologize, remixed by Timbaland, which catapulted them onto the international stage and paved the way for a major debut album, Dreaming Out Loud (2007). OneRepublic’s sound is defined by melodic pop rock deftly fused with R&B, electronic, and orchestral elements—a palette the band has continued to refine across its projects.
