Info
On November 20, 2026, at the Théâtre de Suresnes Jean Vilar, André Manoukian and Élodie Frégé will take the stage together for La Vie secrète des chansons, an evening that delves behind the scenes of the great classics of the French repertoire. With two voices, they trace the thread of familiar titles, from Gainsbourg to Barbara, from Brassens to Juliette Gréco, and they enjoy revealing what lies behind a melody, a word, a silence.
At the piano, Manoukian leads the show: harmonies, jazz detours, a sense of narrative, and anecdotes from the writing workshop give a fresh light to the pieces. Across from him, Frégé brings her presence and her timbre, between chanson, pop and retro hues, to let these songs breathe differently, without freezing them. A concert-conversation where we listen as much as we discover, with curiosity as the guiding thread.
