Adèle Castillon
Between film, music and online videos, Adèle Castillon has built a career at the crossroads of French pop culture. Born in 2001 in Angers, she first attracted attention as a teenager with videos published on YouTube, before appearing in several feature films, including roles in family comedies and French thrillers. She then turned to music as part of the Nantes duo Videoclub, a synth-pop project drawing on new wave and 1980s pop sounds, active in the late 2010s and into the early 2020s, where she developed a world combining immediate melodies and adolescent imagery. After the duo split, Adèle Castillon embarked on a solo path in francophone pop, blending chanson, electronic influences and intimate songwriting focused on relationships, coming of age and everyday life. Her first solo album, Piscine, released in 2023, confirms this move toward melodic French pop, built around direct choruses, melancholic moods and synthetic arrangements that extend yet transform the aesthetic begun with Videoclub.
