Info
On 29 June 2027, Angine de Poitrine land at O2 Academy Brixton in London with their wordless, high-tension instrumentals. The Quebec duo, active since 2023, sits in that sweet spot where experimental rock and math rock meet angular post-punk, with a mechanical pulse that flirts with certain strains of techno. Their tracks are built on a simple idea pushed far: short motifs that pile up, then get stripped back, shifting the ground under your feet without ever losing the thread.
Expect matte, pinpoint drums, microtonal guitar and bass lines, and chromatic phrases that create small frictions inside often asymmetric structures. No vocals, no storytelling—just movement, variation, and rhythmic displacement, tight enough to feel controlled but restless enough to keep you leaning forward. After the release of Vol. 1 in 2024 and early festival appearances back home, this London date reads like a new step for a band that treats repetition as a living, evolving thing.
