On March 12, 2027, at L’Ombrière in Uzès, Ibrahim Maalouf and Hiba Tawaji come together for 'À la française', a meeting between two Lebanese trajectories that have traversed the French stage.
Trumpeter and composer, Ibrahim Maalouf has been navigating since the 2000s between jazz, orchestral music, and writing for the screen. Trained in a demanding classical conservatory, he has built a personal language nourished by a back‑and‑forth between the conservatory, stage projects, and collaborations, with albums such as Diasporas, Kalthoum, or Red & Black Light, and a tendency to open his work to other disciplines.
Singer and performer, Hiba Tawaji comes from a background that blends singing, theatre and musical theatre from an early age. Discovered in Lebanon alongside Oussama Rahbani, she subsequently developed a Francophone career, notably with The Voice and her stint in Notre-Dame de Paris. Her voice, blending pop and symphonic orchestration, bridges Arab repertoire with French-language songs.
