Haley Heynderickx will perform in concert on August 27, 2026 at Hoxton Hall in London. Between Portland's indie-folk scene and a family heritage spanning the United States and the Philippines, she crafts intimate songs carried by a fingerpicked acoustic guitar and a voice that cuts to the core.
Having drawn attention with the Fish Eyes EP (2016), she quickly established herself in a new generation of folk who favor pared-down formats and intimate, human-scale recordings, notably through the project Among Horses III with Max García Conover. Her album I Need to Start a Garden (2018) deepens this approach: indie folk with 60s/70s echoes, fragile melodies, subtle dynamic shifts, and arrangements that stay centered on the guitar, occasionally enhanced by light brass or understated backing vocals.
On stage, Haley Heynderickx often performs solo or in a small group, with the same attention to detail and space: songs that observe daily life, doubt, intimacy, or spirituality, without overacting, but with true writing precision.
