Info
On April 2, 2027, Lizzy McAlpine brings her “the Over Country Tour” to O2 Academy Brixton in London, for a night built around close-up songwriting and the kind of voice that makes a room go quiet. Raised on the edges of folk and indie pop, she’s also got that subtle jazz and R&B touch in her phrasing, which keeps the melodies soft but never bland.
Since her early EPs and the acoustic lean of Give Me a Minute, McAlpine has opened up her sound without losing intimacy, especially on Five Seconds Flat, where pop production starts to stretch the songs out in new directions. Tracks like “Ceilings” pushed her into a wider spotlight, and Older confirms a more restrained, emotionally precise approach: fewer distractions, more weight in the details. Expect a set that moves between hushed confession and fuller arrangements, with space for lyrics to land.
