Info
On November 5, 2026 at the Théâtre de Thionville, Barbara Pravi returns with a song that speaks to the human scale. A songwriter, composer and performer, she champions texts crafted for the stage, a deep voice that settles effortlessly, and spare arrangements in which every silence counts. From “Voilà” to her more recent pieces, she passes along intimate stories, between whisper and full-throated rise, relying on clear phrasing and minimalist musicality. Her set summons the essentials: language, breath, and direct address to the audience.
In a different vein, Aälma Dili unfolds its “turbo gypsy western”: a quartet that blends Balkan and Mediterranean influences with acoustic rock energy. Violin, mandolin, guitar and double bass answer one another; fast rhythms and roaming melodies shape a dense string interplay, carried by Emilio Castiello’s voice. From Fratoï’s repertoire to the group’s standout tracks, the music moves between gallops and sideways steps, without frozen folklore, with the desire to get the room moving.
Two worlds that brush against and respond to each other over the course of one evening: Barbara Pravi’s embodied chanson and Aälma Dili’s polyglot thrust, between the intimacy of words and the tension of strings. A stage meeting that places as much emphasis on the writing as on the live energy.
