Info
Brooklyn’s Geese bring a set that threads post-punk bite through art-rock curves and a hazy psych edge. Formed out of a New York high-school scene, the five-piece first honed their sound on DIY demos and local gigs, shaping songs with angular guitars, restless rhythms and a vocal line that slips between spoken and sung. Projector (2021, Partisan) mapped that tense, knotty terrain; 3D Country (2023) widened the palette with folk shades, a touch of Americana and roomier choruses without losing the band’s nervy charge.
On stage, Geese stretch and reshape the studio versions. Riffs take side roads, dynamics jump from quiet drift to sharp jolts, and the rhythm section nudges the songs off-axis while leaving space for short improvisations. Between the wiry snap of early cuts and the open-road sway of newer material, the set traces a shift from tight corners to wider horizons, held together by melodies that surface under the noise and by guitars trading textures rather than solos.
Geese play Troxy in London on 1 September 2026.
