Info
The Darkness bring their glam-tinged hard rock to The O2, London, on 16 December 2026. Formed in Lowestoft around brothers Justin and Dan Hawkins, with Frankie Poullain on bass and Rufus Taylor on drums, the quartet pairs twin guitars, catchy choruses and Justin’s falsetto. Breakthroughs came with Permission to Land; they blend nods to classic rock with a pop melodic sensibility. On the bill are signature tracks like “I Believe in a Thing Called Love” and “Love Is Only a Feeling,” alongside songs drawn from One Way Ticket to Hell... and Back, Hot Cakes, Last of Our Kind and Pinewood Smile, not to mention more recent releases Easter Is Cancelled, Motorheart and Dreams on Toast (2025). Between punchy riffs, guitar harmonies and choruses designed to be sung back, the band delivers a direct, effective sound—true to what has defined their stage presence since the early 2000s. A London date that condenses two decades of unabashed rock.
