Asaf Avidan, Orchestra

Asaf Avidan returns to La Seine Musicale on 18 November 2026 for a symphonic concert with the Lamoureux Orchestra. The singer-songwriter will revisit his signature songs in new orchestral arrangements, casting a different light on his unmistakable voice and his intricate melodies. It is also an opportunity to highlight Unfurl, his album recorded at Miraval Studios, nourished by the thought of Carl Jung and by a play of mirrors between consciousness and the subconscious, the intimate and the collective.

On stage, the new pieces will mingle with his landmark tracks in textures conceived for strings, winds and percussion: ballads with jazz inflections, spoken-sung pulses and more cinematic surges. Unfurl was preceded by the singles “I Don't Know When,” “I Don't Know How,” “I Don't Know Why” and “Dream Unfurling,” which outline the album's palette. Transposed with the Lamoureux Orchestra, this material lends itself to broader nuances, sharper contrasts and a sonic depth that expands the songs without altering their essence. An evening to explore a repertoire that has continually evolved, between precise songwriting and orchestrated sweep.
