Pony Pony Run Run

Pony Pony Run Run arrives at Interference in Balma on 6 November 2026. The duo from Angers, led by brothers Gaëtan and Amaël Réchin Lê Ky-Huong, carves out a sound between electropop, power pop and prominent synths, with melodic guitars and vocals mostly in English. On stage they alternate between upbeat electronic energy and rock grit, crafted for short formats and memorable choruses.

They broke through in 2009 with the album You Need Pony Pony Run Run and the single “Hey You.” The project continued in 2012 with a self-titled record, and then in 2016 with Voyage Voyage, which alternates dancefloor-ready tracks and more mid-tempo songs. Now refocused around the duo, Pony Pony Run Run plays tight: crisp rhythms, layers of keyboards and vocal lines that push the melodies forward.

The set will draw from their entire catalogue, from classics to more recent material, while keeping the bright pop tension that defines them. It’s a date at Interference to pick up the thread of a Francophone band’s discography sung in English, caught between 2000s nostalgia and very current impulses.
