Kings Of Leon will play the Zitadelle Spandau in Berlin on June 18, 2026. The Nashville band—brothers Caleb, Nathan and Jared Followill with their cousin Matthew—has blended alternative, garage and Southern rock since the early 2000s. Caleb’s rough vocals meet tight riffs and driving rhythms; the lyrics revolve around youth, family and the frictions of everyday life. From Youth & Young Manhood and Aha Shake Heartbreak through the more expansive Because of the Times to the melodically broader Only by the Night and Come Around Sundown, the quartet gradually opened up their sound. Mechanical Bull and WALLS maintained the tension between direct energy and atmospheric expanses, and When You See Yourself explored quieter textures. With Can We Please Have Fun (2024) the band brings immediacy and interplay back to the fore. Live, this produces a shift between jagged uptempos, flowing midtempos and songs that build layer by layer. Expect a set that condenses early edges, memorable choruses and new material—driven by the friction between guitar, bass, drums and that voice.
