Phantogram

Phantogram return to Paris on 20 June 2026 at La Maroquinerie. Formed in Greenwich, New York, the duo of Sarah Barthel and Josh Carter have, since Eyelid Movies (2010), carved out a distinctive path between electronic pop, indie rock and trip‑hop influences. Hip‑hop‑inherited rhythms, textured guitars, sweeping synth pads and the contrast between Sarah’s voice and Josh’s contributions form the core of their sound. From Voices (2014) to Three (2016), and then Ceremony (2020), their palette has broadened, moving between immediate melodies and darker atmospheres.

Curious about artistic crossovers, they created Big Grams with Big Boi and have multiplied collaborations, from Deftones and The Flaming Lips to Tom Morello, Miley Cyrus, Subtronics and Future Islands. They have also appeared on major tours and at festivals alongside Deftones, Queens of the Stone Age, Muse, Arcade Fire and The xx. At La Maroquinerie, Phantogram will bring together these different facets—classic duo material and more recent explorations—for a direct, no‑frills performance true to the hybrid approach that has established them on the international stage for more than a decade.
