Raised in Yuma, Arizona and shaped by the Nashville scene, Evan Honer crafts songs rooted in folk with a country undertow. The voice stays upfront, the guitar close, and the storytelling is direct — everyday moments, relationships, departures. His 2023 album West on I-10 gathered tracks first shared online and set the tone for a live set that moves between low‑key ballads and steadier grooves, played solo or with a small band to keep the arrangements lean.
Alongside him, Sam Burchfield brings a Southern blend of folk and Americana. Warm vocals, acoustic textures and organic arrangements, with quiet flashes of soul and gospel, sometimes leaning toward bluegrass or indie pop. His writing looks to nature, personal spirituality and the day‑to‑day, carried by a clear, narrative style built on harmonies and guitar lines.
