Ryan Bingham

Born in Hobbs, New Mexico, and raised between West Texas and Houston before settling in the orbit of Austin and Dallas, Ryan Bingham trained in bars, honky-tonks and the rodeo circuit, a path that runs through his writing as through his rasping timbre. His music blends Americana, country, roots rock and folk-rock, with sober songs, often driven by acoustic guitar, harmonica and a direct storytelling approach. After two early self-produced records, Ryan Bingham made his mark with Mescalito in 2007, then Roadhouse Sun in 2009 and Junky Star in 2010, initially under the name Ryan Bingham and the Dead Horses. In parallel, his collaboration with T Bone Burnett on the song The Weary Kind, written for the film Crazy Heart in 2009, marks a lasting turning point in his career. Bingham then continues on his own label with Tomorrowland in 2012, Fear and Saturday Night in 2015, Ryan Bingham Live in 2016 and American Love Song in 2019, evolving his repertoire between rugged country, American rock and more stripped-down ballads. Also appearing on screen, Ryan Bingham appears in the series Yellowstone from 2018, where several of his songs find a renewed echo.
