Alice On The Roof

Alice On The Roof will be taking over the I.Boat Bordeaux on April 9, 2026. With a clear voice, occasionally touched by a subtle crack, the Belgian has carved out a distinctive place for herself in recent years. A singer-songwriter, she works at the piano, where words find their purest form. Her airy, intimate pop looks northward, openly citing influences from Sigur Rós and Lykke Li to Emilie Nicolas and Agnes Obel. She is also the author of “The Right Words,” a track written at the request of the Belgian Chancellery to celebrate marriage equality.

A new phase for her comes with an album entirely in French, simply titled Alice. This choice sheds light on her songwriting and brings her songs even closer to everyday life, without unnecessary effects. On stage, she blends understated electronic atmospheres with piano melodies, allowing her new pieces to converse with the songs that first brought her to public attention.
