Info
RORI, also known as Belgian singer Camille Gemoets, will be at La Bulle Café Lille on March 17, 2026 to present Miroir, her new EP. Her pop draws a line between the 1990s and today, with a contemporary sound that never forgets the guitars. You can hear echoes of Nirvana, Garbage, Radiohead, Blur, Sonic Youth or Arctic Monkeys, without it being a mere retro wink. RORI herself makes it clear: Miroir is not a revival, but a way of owning her influences and putting them back in motion.
On these new tracks she blends catchy melodies, nervous rhythms and an indie grain that adds texture. Her voice, direct and clear, carries lyrics from a teen‑to‑adult perspective, balancing lucidity and impulse, aiming less for effect than for impact. In concert, the balance tips toward a live‑band approach, with straightforward energy, tight arrangements and choruses that lodge themselves quickly. At La Bulle Café Lille, RORI reveals a rougher facet of her pop—somewhere between intimacy and rock tension—driven by Miroir and its deliberate back-and-forth between a nineties inheritance and the present.
