Mathieu Madénian returns with À pleurer de rire (Laugh ’til You Cry), a new, very personal show he will present on April 25, 2026 at Le Silo in Marseille. In it, the comedian tells how the late arrival of his first child turned his routines and certainties upside down. With his trademark self‑deprecating humor, he lays out the daily life of a new father who discovers parenthood while trying to stay the course in a world that’s a little unsteady.

On stage, Madénian pits his traditional upbringing against the codes of a more modern fatherhood. How do you talk about gender to your son when you can’t even master TikTok?
