Redouane Bougheraba
Born in Marseille to a family of Algerian origin, Redouane Bougheraba has developed a stand-up rooted in Marseille’s popular culture, where the accent, everyday language and family situations are central. Initially performing on local stages and later in French venues, he built a one-man show structured around self-mockery, improvisation and direct interaction with the audience, with humour that mixes biographical storytelling, social observation and references to current affairs. The artist has gradually expanded his reach with major tours and adapted his writing to larger spaces, up to very large halls and football stadiums. Alongside his stage work, Redouane Bougheraba has appeared in film and television, notably in the film “La Vie scolaire” directed by Grand Corps Malade and Mehdi Idir, where he continues to explore a world marked by school, the neighbourhood and youth trajectories. Very active online through show excerpts and short formats, he maintains a direct link with his audience and situates his work within the contemporary francophone stand-up scene.
