Info
Sam Sauvage is shaking up French chanson with raw sincerity and a distinct personal aesthetic. Carried by an ’80s rock heritage that looks toward Bashung, by the offbeat new-wave of the Talking Heads, and by a frontal poetry often associated with Stromae, his songs move between introspection, irony and melodies that linger. With a clear voice and direct writing, he creates a space where you dance as much as you listen to the words.
Spotted by Zaho de Sagazan and Eddy de Pretto and noticed by Télérama, Libération and France Inter, he has been active on stage: the Pop Up du Label sold out several times, he opened for Eddy de Pretto, and then played a packed La Maroquinerie. His first EP lays the foundations of a singular, sensitive world—between nervous rhythms and sharply honed choruses—without affectation but with a presence entirely his own.
Next stop: Sam Sauvage at La Cigale, Paris on March 31, 2026, for a set that condenses this journey and heralds what comes next.
