Théa
Théa, a singer-songwriter and producer born in 2001 in the Paris region, stands out with a sound that blends emo-core, pop-punk and hyperpop to turn a generation’s cracks into a euphoric, cathartic release. Trained early on in drums and later in music production (DAW), she began posting covers and demos online before gaining attention on activist bills and Montreuil’s alternative stages. Her world mixes anger, fragility and queer assertion with visceral lyrics about mental health, unstable relationships and oppressive systems. After a striking debut album, Memento (2023), she followed with the EP Paname Œstros Poubelle and singles such as Écho, PTSMR and Cavale! Cavale!, which confirm her abrasive hyperpop aesthetic. On stage THÉA delivers an intense, near-cathartic performance that has taken her from the iNOUïS at Printemps de Bourges to sold-out Paris venues and her first international shows. With a hybrid approach and raw energy, she embodies a rising figure in the French scene reinventing pop by injecting urgency, vulnerability and revolt.
