Sam Sauvage
Originally from northern France, Sam Sauvage is a self-taught singer-songwriter who shapes an alternative pop informed by ’80s rock, new wave and modern poetry. Between Bashung’s legacy, Talking Heads’ rhythmic eccentricity and Stromae’s narrative finesse, he crafts a singular world where melancholy flirts with raw energy. Revealed by his first self-titled EP released on the independent label Cinq 7, Sam Sauvage imposes direct, visual songwriting, carried by a lived-in voice and a production that is at once retro and contemporary. On stage he stands out for a rare intensity, turning each concert into a total experience on the border between theatre and rock. A rising artist, he is currently preparing the release of his debut album, scheduled for 2026, confirming a clear ambition: to push the boundaries of French chanson by tinting it with audacity, emotion and his distinctive sense of groove.
