Youn Sun Nah

On March 29, 2026, at the Théâtre des Bouffes du Nord in Paris, Youn Sun Nah presents a new chapter in her career. At the start of 2026 she released her 13th album, a milestone marking 25 years of her recording career. After Elles, a collection of covers that retraced her influences, she continues the path opened with Waking World by presenting new original songs, written and composed by her.

On stage, she appears with a renewed band, conceived to carry the energy and colors of the studio into the live setting. Youn Sun Nah likes to shift reference points, reinterpret and move pieces from one format to another, without a fixed itinerary. Sometimes performer, sometimes singer‑songwriter, she follows her impulses, even if it means getting lost to better find her center. Her natural ground remains the concert: a close, intimate voice, phrasing that breathes, and dynamics that range from subdued warmth to taut intensity. Here, the music unfolds in direct contact with the audience, like an exchange in which each song is reshaped over the course of the evening.
