RUZE

Hailing from Birmingham, RUZE shapes a duo project rooted in contemporary house that is both flexible and direct. Their tracks are built around very groovy basslines, dry percussion, and frequent use of vocals, all conceived for the club. RUZE’s sound sits between British house, minimal house and light tech house, with precise rhythmic writing that prioritizes efficiency without overloading. Their career has unfolded through releases on labels like PIV Records, Hot Creations, Factory 93 and Chaos—milestones that have supported their presence across today’s electronic scene, from clubs and festivals to radio, notably BBC Radio 1. In parallel, RUZE runs Staff Only Records, a structure created to carry their productions and those of artists close to their universe. Through both the label work and their own records, RUZE is part of a house scene focused on the dancefloor, with a neat, functional aesthetic centered on groove.
