Luuk van Dijk

Based in Amsterdam, Dutch producer and DJ Luuk van Dijk develops groove-centred house and tech house, driven by emphatic basslines, percussive rhythms and influences from UK garage. Luuk van Dijk came to notice in the mid-2010s on the Netherlands club scene, where his sets effectively blend classic house, minimal influences and a more contemporary dancefloor approach. His early releases attracted the attention of international labels, and several EPs later appeared on imprints such as Hot Creations and Solid Grooves, gradually establishing his name within a network of European house producers. Over the years he has increased bookings beyond the Netherlands, notably in the UK and Spain, maintaining a regular presence on house and tech house bills. In the early 2020s he launched his own label, Dark Side Of The Sun, using it as a platform to refine a personal aesthetic between club-focused cuts and more melodic pieces. In both his productions and DJ sets, Luuk van Dijk seeks a balance between immediate impact and subtler atmospheres, while retaining a clear anchoring in contemporary European house culture.
