Julian Fijma

Born in Enkhuizen, Netherlands, and later based in Hoorn, Julian Fijma develops an electronic sound centered on modern house with a predominantly minimal and deep-tech orientation. His tracks are built on pronounced basslines, clear synths and supple rhythms. Julian Fijma emerged in the early 2020s with a series of releases aimed at the club circuit, issued mainly as singles and EPs rather than albums. His work is part of the Dutch underground house scene connected to clubs and parties across Europe, written for the dancefloor without seeking an overtly aggressive, upfront impact. Julian Fijma’s productions combine a dry groove, progressive tension and discreet melodic textures within a contemporary aesthetic that remains readable in a DJ set.
