Archie Hamilton

Based in London, Archie Hamilton has developed since the late 2000s a career tied to the British house and minimal scenes, with a sound that blends tech-house, micro-house, garage and deep grooves in a restrained and precise approach. After starting out as a producer and organiser around his own label Moscow Records, launched in 2009, Hamilton broadened that work with Moss Co., and then Arkityp, a project with Rossko that extended their activity within FUSE, the collective and central fixture of London’s underground scene where he became a resident from 2013. He has also released tracks on labels such as Fear of Flying, Fasten Musique Concrete and FUSE, while circulating his music through club circuits across Europe and beyond. His style rests on supple basslines, dry rhythms, minimal textures and occasional borrowings from UK garage, striking a balance between dancefloor effectiveness and attention to detail. Through both his sets and productions, Archie Hamilton fits into a contemporary club aesthetic anchored in London but open to the international flows of minimal house.
