Death Lens

Based in Los Angeles, California, Death Lens operates on a ridge between punk rock, garage and indie rock, anchored by a lineup of childhood friends from the same local scene. Born out of the vibrant DIY show circuit on the West Coast in the early 2010s, the band cut its teeth on small stages—independent venues and clubs—before embarking on tours across the United States. Death Lens' songs rely on fast guitars, taut rhythms and a melodic yet raw vocal delivery, with lyrics that reflect urban everyday life, identity and the social tensions specific to Los Angeles. Over successive releases their sound has broadened toward more melodic—and at times darker—textures while retaining a direct punk and garage foundation, allowing the band to move between alternative scenes, specialized festivals and more indie-oriented circuits.
