LP Giobbi

Producer, DJ and pianist LP Giobbi, born Leah Chisholm, is from Oregon and has developed a personal approach to house music since the late 2010s. After studying jazz piano she settled in California and gradually made her mark on the North American club scene with sets where keyboard improvisation plays a central role, blending melodic house, piano house and echoes of disco and pop. Her tracks favor clear harmonic progressions, repetitive basslines and vocals often treated as rhythmic textures. A frequent touring presence, LP Giobbi alternates dancefloor-oriented DJ sets with more live formats built around the piano. In 2019 she co-founded FEMME HOUSE, a platform dedicated to improving access for women and non-binary people to music production tools and DJing. In 2023 she released her first full-length album, Light Places, which brings together her different facets, from club tracks to more contemplative compositions.
