Carlita

Turkish-Italian, Carlita has built a career as a DJ and producer grounded in classical training and the practice of several instruments, including cello, drums, bass and guitar. Her work sits between house, melodic techno and indie dance, with psychedelic inflections and a pronounced attention to sonic textures, often nourished by field recordings made during her travels. Carlita thus develops an electronic compositional approach in which club rhythms remain central, yet melodies, shifts in texture and references to broader musical worlds play an important role. Emerging in the late 2010s, she has gradually established herself on club and festival circuits alongside her releases as a producer.
