SG Lewis

Based in London and originally from Reading, UK, SG Lewis builds a project at the intersection of house, disco and electronic pop, often shaded with soul and R&B. First active as a DJ in Liverpool’s club scene, he released his earliest productions online in the mid-2010s and quickly signed with PMR Records. The track “Warm” revealed his taste for nocturnal atmospheres and slow grooves, followed by a series of EPs that shaped his early discography—most notably “Shivers” (2015), “Yours” (2016) and the triptych “Dusk” (2018), “Dark” (2018) and “Dawn” (2019), conceived as a journey through a club night from beginning to end. As a producer, songwriter and occasional vocalist, SG Lewis collaborates with artists from pop and electronic music such as Clairo, AlunaGeorge, Robyn, Channel Tres and Dua Lipa, balancing structured songs with formats aimed more directly at the dancefloor. His debut album “Times” (2021) asserts a modern nu-disco and funk aesthetic centered on bass and keyboards, while “AudioLust & HigherLove” (2023) broadens the palette toward a more upfront electronic pop. On stage he alternates between band-backed shows and club-oriented sets, situating him both in DJ culture and in the current British electronic song tradition.
