Under the name TSHA, Teisha Matthews has been developing since 2018 an electronic project born in England, between Fareham where she grew up and the London scene where her music took shape. A producer, DJ, singer and multi‑instrumentalist, TSHA blends melodic, luminous house with elements of electronic pop, downtempo and dance in tracks often built around smooth vocals, crisp rhythms and fairly direct songwriting. After the EPs Dawn (2018), Moonlight (2019), Flowers (2020) and OnlyL (2021), she expanded her format with Capricorn Sun in 2022 and then Sad Girl in 2024. Her trajectory also includes the compilation Fabric Presents TSHA, released in 2022, which underscores her connection to the club and DJ format. Across her discography TSHA has collaborated with artists from varied backgrounds — including Gabrielle Aplin, Trio Da Kali, Oumou Sangaré, Aluna, Ellie Goulding and Gregory Porter — reflecting the evolution of a repertoire at the crossroads of the dancefloor and a more vocal electronic pop. Released notably on Ninja Tune, TSHA’s music circulates between club releases, collaborative singles and sets within the British house and electronic scenes.
