Eli Brown

Based in Bristol, UK, Eli Brown has been developing a trajectory between tech house and techno since the mid-2010s, marked by a dense, percussive and deliberately dark sound shaped by the energy of British clubs and a warehouse aesthetic. He first emerged in a functional house and tech-house register built on driving grooves, direct basslines and short vocal motifs, then moved toward a tenser, more frontal approach close to techno while retaining a clear, effective structure. Releases on labels such as Toolroom, Relief, Repopulate Mars, Truesoul and Arcane, as well as his own imprint, have accompanied this evolution.
