Behind KREAM are brothers Daniel and Markus Slettebakken, producers and DJs from Bergen, Norway, working together since the mid-2010s. Their music sits within melodic, direct house at the intersection of deep house, tech house and a stripped-down dance-pop, featuring clear vocal lines, pronounced bass and club-minded arrangements. KREAM first drew attention with remixes and online releases before building an original catalogue, notably the 2016 single "Taped Up Heart," which broadened their visibility beyond the Scandinavian scene. Over the years they’ve steered toward darker, more groove-focused tracks while retaining an accessible dimension inherited from electronic pop. The duo balances original productions, vocal collaborations and DJ work on the international electronic circuit, in clubs and at festivals, occupying a space between vocal house, drier rhythms and restrained textures in a dancefloor-ready format that avoids spectacle.
