Lilly Palmer

Under the stage name Lilly Palmer, German DJ and producer Sonja Rauschenbach develops a techno that is both melodic and percussive, marked by high tempos and direct club energy. Raised in the Nuremberg area of Germany, Lilly Palmer began her career in Zurich, gaining experience in small bars and clubs where she gradually shifted from deep house and melodic techno to faster techno around 150 BPM in response to audience reactions. Her international profile rose from 2022 with a two-hour Essential Mix for BBC Radio 1, which established her on the European techno scene. In 2023 she experimented with a different format, recording a live techno set in a satellite test chamber at the European Space Agency, using sounds sourced from the ESA archives. Her discography is built mainly around singles such as Amnnesia (2020), You Are My Guide (2023), My Fantasy (2024) and Hare Ram (2024), and collaborations, notably with Maddix on Late At Night (2025) and with Armin van Buuren on Ayi Giri / Dopamine Machine (2026). At the same time, Lilly Palmer has been increasing her festival and club dates, including Sonus Festival, the Ushuaïa Ibiza Beach Hotel and a live techno set broadcast from the DJ Mag headquarters.
