Layton Giordani

Based between New York and Europe, Layton Giordani develops a techno approach that links American club culture with the sound of major European stages. A producer and DJ, Layton Giordani emerged in the mid‑2010s with a series of EPs focused on dark, percussive techno, before joining the Drumcode label, which became the main base of his discography. His debut album, Where It Begins (2017), established a universe of direct rhythms, atmospheric pads and progressive constructions conceived for the dancefloor. In 2020, the album New Generation extended this aesthetic by incorporating more melodic elements and greater contrasts between tension and release. A regular at international clubs and techno festivals, Layton Giordani hones an energetic DJ style centered on linear grooves, extended buildups and immersive textures. Collaborations, notably with Adam Beyer and Danny Tenaglia, place him within a network of artists working on contemporary techno geared toward large soundsystems.
