Sara Landry
Active between the United States and the Netherlands, Sara Landry develops an industrial hard techno characterized by fast tempos, abrasive textures, massive bass and an almost ritualistic dimension. Born in 1993 in Sausalito, California, and having lived in Boulder then Austin after her parents’ divorce, she began DJing at 17 in New York while studying and working as an event promoter. Returning to Austin after her studies, she honed her approach behind the decks in local clubs before releasing her first single, “Chasm,” in 2018. A self-taught producer and sound engineer, Sara Landry shaped her universe through a series of EPs, including “Wait” (mau5trap, 2019) and “Sacrifice” (Kraftek, 2020), followed by “Queen of the Banshees” (RAW, 2021). In 2021 she co‑founded Amsterdam-based Hekate Records to champion this dark, esoteric aesthetic. Based in the Netherlands since 2022, she released the EP “Delirium” with Don Woezik the same year and the album “Spiritual Driveby” (Hekate Records) in 2024, while issuing numerous singles and collaborations with the new hard techno wave. Her performances circulate widely online, notably via a Boiler Room appearance in 2023, and she performs across many European and North American techno stages—from large festivals to specialist clubs—before launching in 2025 a series of dates under the Eternalism concept, including a stop in Austin that symbolically closes a trajectory begun in Texas.
