Vitalic

Vitalic, whose real name is Pascal Arbez, is a French electronic musician. Born in Dijon in 1976, he felt his first musical thrill at a Daft Punk concert, which prompted him to pursue electronic music. His career began after meeting DJ The Hacker, who put him in touch with the manager of the Dee Jay Gigolo label. In 2001 Vitalic released his self-titled first EP on that label. He soon founded his own label, Citizen Record, through which he produced artists such as Fancy and John Lord Fonda. In 2005 he released his debut album OK Cowboy, created entirely with synthesizers. After touring the United States and Europe on the strength of that album, he released his second album FlashMod in 2009, a wide success that confirmed his talent. Three years later he returned with Rave Age, which he toured with in 2013. He has been booked for events such as the Nuits Sonores festival and club nights organized by Social Club and La Flèche d'Or.
