Kompromat

An electronic duo from France born out of the collaboration between Vitalic and Rebeka Warrior (also of Sexy Sushi and Mansfield.TYA), Kompromat forges a sound at the intersection of Berlin techno, EBM, industrial and a punk/cold‑wave sensibility. The project emerged in the late 2010s with a string of singles in German and French, followed by the debut album “Traum und Existenz” (2019), where pounding rhythms, dark synth layers and chanted or sung vocals shape tracks conceived for both the club and the stage. The lyrics, often charged with intimate tension, explore desire, fear and the relationship to the body within an aesthetic informed by both new wave’s legacy and rock’s energy. Kompromat primarily develops through live performances across European venues and festivals, with a stage setup that emphasizes Rebeka Warrior’s vocal frontality and Vitalic’s techno grounding, building a repertoire that swings between abrasive intensity and danceable melancholy.
