Tibz

Born in 1993 and from Pe9rigueux in Dordogne, Tibz, the stage name of Thibault Gaudillat, develops a French chanson writing nourished by folk, acoustic pop and influences from Anglo-Saxon repertoires heard since childhood. Initially revealed online with covers and then with original compositions, Tibz drew attention in the mid-2010s with the single 'On n’est pas bien le0 ?', before supporting Louane on the opening act of her Ze9nith tour. His first album, Nation, appeared in 2017 and established a direct, melodic and luminous format, centered on guitar, catchy pop refrains and an accessible folk approach. After this initial period, Tibz continued his journey with the tracks 'Tout au bout du monde' (2019), 'Au revoir' (2020) and 'Bye Bye' (2021), which announce the album 'Tout ce quf4n laisse', released in 2022. In parallel with his solo project, Tibz writes or co-writes for other artists, notably Jenifer and Zaz, and collaborates with Boulevard des Airs on the creation of 'A côté de toi' for Les Enfoire9s in 2020. On stage as in the studio, Tibz remains associated with contemporary pop-folk songwriting, at the crossroads of the intimate, French variety and sober acoustic arrangements.
