Grégoire
Born in Étampes in 1979, Grégoire is part of the contemporary French chanson scene, blending acoustic pop, intimate songwriting and straightforward melodies. As a singer‑songwriter, Grégoire Boissenot came to attention in the late 2000s thanks to the crowdfunding platform MyMajorCompany, where an online audience backed the production of his debut album. That record, Toi + Moi (2008), established a style focused on voice, piano and guitar, with lyrics about emotional ties, bereavement and everyday life. He followed with Le Même Soleil in 2010 and Les Roses de mon silence in 2013, which continued this line between popular chanson, pop arrangements and more stripped‑down ballads. In 2014, the album Poésies de notre enfance set texts from the literary heritage to music, confirming Grégoire’s interest in the French language and cultural transmission. Active on francophone stages, solo or with a band, he alternates concerts in venues, festivals and studio projects, occasionally collaborating with variety and chanson artists while maintaining accessible, melodic songwriting.
