Viken Arman

Trained in classical piano, Viken Arman develops in France an electronic practice where house and minimal intersect with acoustic motifs, jazz and hip‑hop influences, and references to various musical traditions. Active since the early 2010s as a producer, DJ and musician, Viken Arman composes pieces that are both rhythmic and atmospheric, driven by clear melodic lines, supple percussion and a use of sound collage that remains central to his aesthetic. His trajectory spans the club circuit as well as more open live formats, with appearances on international electronic stages such as Fusion Festival in Germany and Burning Man in the United States. Beyond his DJ sets, Viken Arman creates music that seeks a balance between repetition, movement and instrumental presence, operating in a range between deep house, electronica and organic downtempo. His name is also associated with Denature Records, a structure through which he has released part of his productions and extended this approach between dance, immersive listening and composition.
