Sam Shure
Based in Berlin, Sam Shure produces electronic music that blends melodic house, techno, downtempo and textures drawn from classical and Middle Eastern influences. His musical path began early with piano lessons from his father, Egyptian jazz musician Basem Darwisch, an anchor that remains audible in the emphasis on melody and arrangement. Sam Shure first attracted notice with downtempo productions released on MUKKE, before gaining wider exposure on the Stil vor Talent label with tracks like "Kasra" and "Nandoo", which established a tenser, club-oriented style attentive to harmonic detail. In 2019 he released the album "Lanconia", where his writing expands across vocal pieces, dance formats and more atmospheric passages. His remix work, notably on Monolink's "Reflections", accompanies this shift toward a more direct aesthetic without losing the organic dimension of his music. Sam Shure is thus part of an international circuit of clubs and festivals, from Berlin to London and stages such as Fabric or Burning Man.
